In my house, Thursday is pizza night. When we were deciding whether we wanted to order out, scratch batch it or pop our favorite frozen in the oven, Rick said that he had been looking forward to having wings. So we decided to make some and take you along.
There is really nothing special about the way I do wings except that I don’t fry mine. I fry some things, but I don’t like it a lot. So I had to come up with a way to do wings that was good for me and that way is to bake the wings on a rack in the oven at just the right temperature so as not to dry out the wings and also not smoke out the house from burning chicken fat! So this is how I do it.
I also mix up a simple buffalo hot sauce that is fairly typical of other wing recipes, but you gotta have a good sauce and this is mine. Along with our favorite BBQ sauce, we had a great Thursday pizza night.
