Greetings! Let’s build on some recipes as Gretchen at Woodland Bakery would say! Today we make the ever present, Thanksgiving classic, Green Bean Casserole! We are going to make it easy on ourselves and use some frozen green beans, our homemade cream of mushroom soup and our homemade oven baked, crispy onion strings. This goes together in a flash. Build this in a foil pan, your friend at the holidays, and pop this in the oven about a half hour before serving time for a knock their socks off homemade, from scratch version of the classic, everything out of a can green bean casserole!
I promise you won’t want to go back to the old way of doing this! You will be really proud of yourself when you serve this to your friends and family and the bonus of knowing every single thing that went in there and nary a chemical, additive or preservative is present!
