Banana Cream Pie Cheesecake is my version of the famous dessert from America’s world renowned “The Cheesecake Factory” restaurant chain. Cream cheese, sugar, banana, vanilla and whipping cream are combined and poured on to a rich cookie base. Baked until golden, then chilled until firm – this rich, creamy cheesecake will be a smash hit at your next party- give it a go!

INGREDIENTS IN THIS DISH:
BASE:
20 Vanilla Cream Filled Cookies (I used Arnott’s Shortbread Creams)
50g of Butter (melted)
FILLING:
750g of Philadelphia-Style Cream Cheese (at room temperature)
2/3 Cup of White Sugar
2 Tablespoons of Corn Flour (Corn Starch)
3 Eggs
2 Teaspoons of Vanilla Extract
1/2 Cup of Whipping Cream
1 Cup of Mashed Bananas (about 2 Large Bananas)
Preparation Time: About 20 minutes
Baking Time: About 90 minutes + Cooling Time
Chilling Time: About 6 – 8 hours
SERVES 8 – 10
