Cholar daal or Bengal gram lentil is little bit sweeter kind of dish which goes well with luchi or kachuri in breakfast time. It is not a everyday dal but it’s typically made in special occasions and festivals.
Ingredients:
2 cups Chana dal
1 tsp whole Cumin seeds
1 Bayleaf
1 Dried Red chilly
Whole Garam masala
Few Coconut finely chopped
4-5 slit Green chillies
1″ long Ginger grated
Half a tsp Hing
1 tsp Ghee
Few Raisins
1 tsp Turmeric powder
Mustard oil
Salt & Sugar to taste
