EASY PEACH CRISP!! QUICK SUMMER DESSERT IDEA!!

Today I am sharing a quick and easy dessert that you can whip up in no time fresh and hot whenever the mood strikes you! We will be using the recipes you already know for bulk streusel topping and sweet peach topping. Using the peaches as the filling and the streusel for the topping we can make a quick and delicious dessert that will be so welcome when you need a sweet treat! Full of fresh summer goodness of peaches and the crunchy topping that you already have in your freezer this could not be easier!

I am using about 4 cups worth of the sweet peach topping recipe we made in a previous video and you can find that here:

I am also using two ramekins that will each serve two people. You can do this in individual servings or you can place everything in one baking dish. For this amount, I suggest an 8 inch square or even a pie plate would be perfect. Now sprinkle on the streusel topping to your heart’s content!

You can find the video for the streusel topping here:

I would say I used about 1/2 cup of streusel topping on each of these ramekins. But you should feel free to use what you like when you make yours. There is no wrong answer here. You do what you like! This is your peach crisp!

You now have a couple of options. You can bake your crisp in the oven or you can make it in the microwave! Since these ingredients are virtually already “cooked” you can get away with that. Either way will result in a bubbly, crispy, sweet and delicious dessert anytime the fancy strikes.

To bake this in the oven I recommend a 350 preheated oven baking the crisp for 20 to 25 or even 30 minutes until the topping is crisp and browned and the filling is bubbly and hot. Remove from the oven and allow to cool then serve warm or at room temperature with your choice of ice cream, whipped cream or both! My mom always loved to just pour some fresh cream over this to enjoy!

To bake in the microwave Simply pop these in for around 5 minutes at 50% power and monitor them once they start to bubble. I highly recommend placing a paper plate under the vessel because boil over will inevitably happen. When the mixture is bubbly and the center is hot, they are done. These should sit for a few minutes to allow the topping to crisp up then you are ready to serve.

How easy was that? A quick and delicious dessert that you can make with ingredients you already have on hand. This would be a great dessert to throw together on a moment’s notice or on those occasions when you have company drop by. This can be made in the time that it takes to enjoy a cup of coffee or tea with your favorite people.

I hope that you give this easy peach crisp a try sometime soon and I hope you love it!

Happy Eating!
