Egg in the Basket is a childhood favourite of mine. A slice of bread with a hole cut out of the centre is gently fried until golden. Finally, the hole is filled with a beautiful, freshly cracked egg. Also known as “Frog in the Hole” and “Sunny Toast” (and a hundred other names!) this dish is great for breakfast or a quick snack – give it a go!
