Greetings! We are having what we called a “fried dinner” tonight. We don’t do this very often really only about once a year. You all know how much I don’t like to fry for a number of reasons, however sometimes, you just need to do it.
We love Mozzarella sticks and since I recently saw April of the CookingwithApril channel as well as Nikko of Nikko’s Kitchen make their own versions of this tasty treat, I thought I would share how I make mine with you.
These are a restaurant favorite all over the place. They are very simple to make and when you do it at home you get to control the ingredients. I just used some string cheese sticks that I cut in half and then breaded them with a standard flour, egg and breadcrumb mixture. I did double dip in the egg and crumbs so I would have a nice sturdy crust when I finished frying these up.
So get out the marinara and ranch dressing and get ready to dig into some homemade Mozzarella sticks!
