Summer Time is here! And I am finding ways of getting my kiddos to “drink” more fruits and vegetables. Spinach, cucumber and celery on their smoothies has been a staple and I just add on varieties of fruits to offset the veggie taste. This is another winner! The kids loved it! Especially when I named it, “Mermaid Smoothie”.
Green Smoothie Recipe – “Mermaid Smoothie”
Coconut water
Organic Blue Agave for sweetness
handful of Spinach
2 stalks celery
half a small cucumber
Add fruits you’ve got on hand:
1 peach
1 orange
1 apple
few pineapple chunks for sweetness
handful of frozen green grapes
ice cubes
