How to Make Fresh Apple Ginger Juice

What You’ll Need

* 2 organic apples
* 1 inch ginger
* Juicer
Straight edge knife* Cutting board
* Paper towels
* Pitcher
* Stirring spoon
* Drinking glass
* Mason jar or other air-tight container

Preparation
———————————————————————

1. Rinse your apples under cold water. Dry with paper towels.
2. Leaving the skin on, place your apples on the cutting board and use your knife to 
slice them into quarters (four equally-sized pieces per apple).3. Place the pitcher under the juicer’s spout so it will collect the juice.
4. Push the apples down the juicer’s chute one piece at a time. Leaving the skin on will produce a cloudy color, which is perfectly normal. Next, add the ginger.
5. When finished, use your stirring spoon to stir the juice together in the pitcher
6. Pour the juice from the pitcher into a drinking glass and serve. Try using a martini shaker filled with ice to serve the juice chilled.
7. Also, try to drink your freshly-squeezed juice within 20 minutes to absorb more of the live nutrients and enzymes.
8. To properly store your juice, pour it in a mason jar or other air-tight container and place in your refrigerator. It will keep for a maximum of 24 hours.
