How to make sushi rice

THIS VIDEO IS ABOUT HOW TO MAKE SUSHI RICE.
What you need :
– sushi rice
– water
– sushi rice vinegar
– two bowls , small bowl and large wooden bowl ( OKE Japanese Bowl)
– wooden rice paddle
– sieve
– rice cooker
– hand towel
– fan

1) wash the sushi rice 6-7 times with tap water until the water runs clear.
2) drain the tap water , then add the rice to the rice cooker with the bottled water
3) wait 40min (note rice cooker should be finished in 20 min, leave another 20min to rest, do not open the lid)
4) mix rice with prepared sushi rice vinegar
5) Spread out and cool down to room temperature.
6) Keep in a bowl with a damp towel over it.
Do not refrigerate cooked sushi rice, as it will make it unusable.

To make the sushi rice vinegar mix here is a simple recipe :
– Rice vinegar 30ml
– Sugar 30g
– Salt 1 ½ teaspoons
The recipe for sushi rice or one roll (150g cooked sushi rice)
– Sushi rice 50g
– Sushi rice vinegar 12.5ml
– Water 80ml
Its recommended to cook enough sushi rice for at least 6 rolls as otherwise too much of it will become crispy at the bottom of the rice cooker.
