ORANGE PIE WITH FILO PASTRY – INGREDIENTS
FOR THE SYRUP
2 glasses caster sugar
2 glasses water, boiled
The cups of 1 squeezed orange
The juice of 3 oranges
1 cinnamon stick
4 cloves
Cook on very high heat, rapidly for 10 minutes
FOR THE CREAM
250g Filo pastry
¾ glass caster sugar
2 sachets of vanilla OR Vanilla Essence
60g unsalted butter, room temperature
½ glass olive oil
5 eggs
Zest from 2 oranges
Minced orange cups from the syrup
1 teaspoon baking powder
¼ teaspoon baking soda, dissolved in a little orange juice
1glass Greek yoghurt
