SNAKE GOURD FRY – Chichinga Bhaja

How to prepare Chichinga Bhaja – Snake Gourd Fry. Snake gourd is one of those vegetables which are rarely used for cooking. Snake Gourd can grow up to 6 feet in length. This is a traditional way to make the snake gourd dish in Bengali style. This is a kind of dry preparation.

Ingredients:

1 large Snake Gourd (Chichinga )
1 Onion chopped into small pieces
1/2 cup shredded Coconut
1 tsp kalo Jeera or black cumin
2 Dried Red Chilly
1 tsp Turmeric Powder
White Oil
Salt
Sugar to taste
