Sweet Potato Soup with Sausage and Greens – Everyday Food with Sarah Carey

Soup season is officially here, and as the temperatures drop, I’m always seeking out new recipes that will not only warm me up but fill me up too. That’s why today I’m whipping up and easy (and body-warming) sweet-potato-and-sausage stew. Talk about comfort food! Each bite of this hearty dish is loaded with vegetables, sweet sausage, and wilted greens. And to make this a more filling meal, I’ve added some small shell pasta to the pot. This is definitely what I want for dinner tonight — and all winter long.

Sarah’s Tip of the Day: Increase the heat on this dish by using spicy Italian sausage in place of sweet.
