Sweet Thai Chili Wings ~ Collab with The Wolfe Pit ~ Superbowl Wings Recipe ~ Noreen’s Kitchen

http://youtu.be/wHtMUhrNd6s

Today I have a super easy sweet Thai chili wing recipe for you that is perfect for Superbowl snacking! I am sharing today’s video as a collaboration with my friend Larry from The Wolfe Pit channel! If you don’t know Larry, you need to! He is just great. He has done some of the best BBQ and Asian recipes I have seen and I might add the BEST beef and broccoli recipe I have ever made! So be sure to go and check out Larry at the link above!

Today’s recipe is for simple and delicious wings! These are fried wings so I dredged them in a mixture of flour and my homemade Thai curry seasoning blend. Then we tossed them into the turkey fryer at 375 for about 12 minutes until they were fried to a crispy golden perfection. Then they were doused with a healthy amount of Mae Ploy Sweet Thai Chili sauce for good measure. These are my favorite! This sauce is amazing. Yes, I could probably make my own, but it is super cheap at the Asian market and easy to get so I just kept things simple today. In the future, if you would like me to share how to make this sauce let me know and I will put it on the list!

If you have not tried one of these Masterbuilt turkey fryers, they are good for much more than frying turkey! I love this thing! FIll it up with peanut oil or the oil of your choosing and it’s like having a restaurant style fryer at home. At Thanksgiving when we fried our first turkey, we set it up on our kitchen table. This time we set it up on a table in our carport to avoid the fried food smell and keep the heat outside. It worked out perfectly. When the fryer was cool we put a plastic bin over it, turned upside down so it would be protected from the elements and we could remove the oil the next day. We actually used the fryer two more times before we removed the oil. Now we can be sure the oil was spent and we could replace it with fresh the next time. This thing cleans up really well and stores away in a bin to protect it and keep it clean.

Back to the wings. These things are great and simple to make. If you are having a Superbowl party, keep the fryer hot and just make in batches of two pounds each. You can have a variety of sauces from buffalo to bbq to sweet Thai chili to Chinese hoisin anything you can think of you can pretty much whip up in a jiff!

I hope you give these simple and delicious sweet Thai chili wings a try and I hope you love them!

Happy Eating!
