Valentine Cake Mix Cookies ❤️ ~ Red Velvet & Strawberry Cookies ~ Quick & Easy ~ Noreen’s Kitchen❤️

Valentine’s day is almost here and sometimes you need a quick treat for a classroom or church. These cake mix cookies are the perfect answer! Three simple ingredients to make the base cookie then add ins to bring them over the top! They could not be easier! Perfect for bake sales or whenever you find out you need to provide a snack for an event. These go together quick and you already have what you need to make them!

Today I chose red velvet and strawberry supreme because of their festive flair for Valentine’s day. These are so simple! Take one cake mix of your choice. Add 1/2 cup of oil or melted butter and 2 eggs. Mix up and scoop on to a baking sheet. You don’t have to stop there. You can pump these up and make them your own special creation! I would have loved to have added white chocolate chips to mine, but didn’t remember them at the store and I was fresh out in my pantry. I did add some crushed up, freeze dried strawberries to the strawberry cookies and they would have been awesome with some chocolate mini chips or a chocolate ganache drizzle.

I have used Duncan Hines cake mix as it is my preferred brand but I am fairly certain these will work with any cake mix. My mom used Duncan Hines and I use it because I have yet to find a cake mix that comes close in quality. You use what you like.

You can get super creative. Chocolate cake mix, chocolate chips and 1/2 cup of peanut butter. Spice mix cake with 1/2 cup of pumpkin puree and pumpkin pie spice. Lemon cake with white chocolate chips, make snickerdoodles by adding cinnamon chips to the batter and rolling the dough in cinnamon sugar! You are only limited by your imagination and the formula.

I love this idea and this whole concept because these can be customized for the occasion. You can color or flavor coordinate depending on your party theme. Great for kids parties, bridal or baby showers or graduations. These go together super fast and make great party favors as a take away for your guests. You can stack these up and put them in a cello bag tied with a ribbon for gift giving at the holidays!

I hope you give these cake mix cookies a try and I hope you love them!

Happy Eating!
